An Eggceptional Match COVID-19 Update
May 12, 2020
To our respected Intended Parents, Gestational Carriers and Egg Donors:
We understand the devastation those of you are feeling because of additional delays due to COVID-19 in building your family. As COVID continues to spread and the ever-changing landscape remains uncertain, AEM remains dedicated to the health and safety of our clients and staff. We are monitoring the CDC and government restrictions/guidelines closely and are committed to keeping you informed and updated to the best of our ability.
AEM continues to work closely with our partner clinics and affiliate agencies in providing you individualized care and updates as it pertains to each of their policies and protocols. Should you have specific questions about your cycle, please reach out to your IVF clinic nurse or AEM case manager directly.
We thank you for your continued patience as the fluidity of the situation changes daily. Additionally, we encourage you to advocate on behalf of your well-being and stay up to date on your state’s government mandated guidelines and to further educate yourself by inquiring with the CDC and FDA directly: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/ and https://www.fda.gov/emergency-preparedness-and-response/mcm- issues/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19
For Intended Parents and Gestational carriers currently in cycle, we are communicating regularly with each delivering hospital and will keep you informed on any changes in hospital procedures prior to admission. For our international clients, we are also managing communications based on any travel-based contingencies that could affect travel for all involved.
Know that we remain fully staffed and committed to your success!
